After School Club
Our after school club runs on Wednesday evenings - phone Susan for further details.
Riding Lessons
Standard Lessons: £27.50 per hour, £22 for 45 minutes.
Private / Lunge Lessons: £40 for 45 minutes, £27.50 for 30 minutes (30 minutes only available for child’s lead rein session.)
Semi Privates (for 2 or more friends): £35 per person for 45 minutes.
Lessons are mainly in the indoor arena (although we also have an outdoor arena and a jumping paddock which can be used.)

Please note new customers are asked to prepay to confirm a booking. Existing customers will be also asked to pay if they do not show or cancel with less than 12 hours notice. Payment can be made by following the ‘Pay for lessons online’ link on the home page.

PLEASE NOTE: You can make payment online but need to phone in order to arrange time/date.
Hacking and Trekking
‘Half and Half’ (half lesson, half trek): £27.50 Suitable for inexperienced riders or mixed ability groups/families etc. Those who are more experienced will be given the chance to work at faster paces if they wish and inexperienced riders will be given basic instruction before they go out on a trek.

Hacking: (only for experienced riders who can control their mount in walk, trot and canter) £27.50 per hour, £40 per hour and a half, £50 for 2 hrs, £80 for 3 hours. Longer hacks may be available by arrangement.

If you want to book a hack and you have not been here before you may be asked to ride in the arena first to make sure you are safe to go out on the horse you have been assigned.
Tuesday evenings - various visiting instructors for flatwork and jumping including Diana Zajda (usually first Tuesday every month) and Carol Stanley (usually second Tuesday every month). Ask for prices.

Wednesday evenings - Adult lessons are available at 7 or 8pm for those who prefer a slower pace - £27.50 or £22.50 with own horse.

Thursday evenings - Anne Johnstone - flatwork (adult lessons) £27.50 or £22.50 on your own horse.

Privates with visiting instructors start at £45 for 45 minutes.
Pony Club
Pathhead Equestrian Centre is an approved Pony Club Centre and children can participate in all pony club acitivities using our horses and ponies. Younger children come for two hours (one hour of riding included) but older children can come for the whole day if they want. Pony club membership is required. Please ask for more information.

Pony Rides
£12 Pony rides are mainly for young children and last about 10 minutes. They are led around the tracks. Booking is required.
Adopt a Pony
£60 per day.
Children are assigned a pony or horse for the day and learn how to feed it and look after it as well as ride it. Suitable for beginners as well as more advanced riders wanting to improve riding and horse care skills. Only available week days.
Pony Camps
Camps are run in school holidays. They last for 4 days (always weekdays) and run from 10am to 4pm. Children of all levels can participate. The usual format is practicing different kinds of riding all week (dressage, jumping, hacking, games etc) and finishing with a competition/show on the final day with prizes for everyone and the chance for parents to come along and watch.
Pony Parties
From £30 per child. Children are put in teams for pony club games. Fine for experienced or inexperienced riders as we provide leaders if required. For £30 per child we provide an hour of riding. We can supply food but this costs extra depending on what you want. You are also welcome to bring your own food and have a picnic. There are also some covered areas available if the weather is not good.
Riding Holidays
Accommodation will be available from mid-July 2015, or, if larger parties, accommodation can be easily arranged with nearby B&B's or hotels. Riding activities are tailor-made according to your needs and are suitable for all riding levels. Help and advice can also be given on other local activities for non riding travelling partners. Own horse/horses also welcome. Contact us for prices etc.
Discounts for Organisations
Special rates and arrangements are available for groups from schools, social work departments, charitable or youth organisations etc. Please contact us for more information.
School Hire
Indoor school - Off Peak Times (up to 10am and after 5pm weekends, up to 4pm and after 9pm weekdays) £20 per hour.

Peak Times
(10am to 5pm weekends, 4pm to 9pm weekdays) £30 per hour.
Jumping Paddock or Outdoor School - £15 per hour (no peak/off peak rates)
Indoor school hire is for individuals or small groups (up to 4). School hire for larger numbers will be priced higher. Please ask for more information.
